As part of EGIA’s ongoing commitment to help contractors overcome the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, we are proud to deliver Navigating Turbulent Times – a new virtual training series focused on educating contractors on the strategies, tactics and best practices your business can be implementing to conquer the coronavirus crisis. The Navigating Turbulent Times training series includes weekly online Q&A sessions with EGIA Contractor University Faculty and on-demand virtual training classes focused on all of the essential areas of running your business successfully during difficult times.

Do you want to organize weekly training meetings for your team but just don’t have the time to create a program? EGIA has created an out-of-the-box training series that delivers high-value educational content every week – all you have to do is press play. The weekly coaching sessions feature a wide variety of topics carefully designed to keep your comfort advisors and service technicians aligned and focused on continuous success.

These classroom style trainings will focus on key topics relevant to growing your Daikin Business. Daikin will host a total of 20 regional workshop events annually, held in 9 regional locations across the USA and Canada. Workshops include Leadership, Retail Sales Excellence, Business and Financial Planning, Technician Selling, and Branding, Marketing and Lead Generation.

One- or two-day in-depth educational events focused on the 10 core areas of curriculum provided through EGIA Contractor University. Workshops are presented in-person throughout the country during non-peak seasons. Course workbooks and other materials are provided to help support the learning process during these events. You’ll receive 1 free registrations to each EGIA workshop.

Dedicated online classes focused on the fundamental areas of running a contracting businesses. Classes are available on Sales, Financial Structure, Pricing, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, Service Agreements, Leadership and more. The online classes feature high definition streaming videos and a learning management system that requires all participants to demonstrate their total comprehension of the various lessons, each step of the way, before progressing through the rest of the training curriculum.

The Contracting Best Practices Online Library allows Daikin Elite Dealers to take an even deeper dive and expand their knowledge, beyond what is covered in the online classes, to achieve total mastery of all the critical areas for running a contracting business. With this powerful resource, you’ll unlock a vast library of high definition training videos, implementation tools, templates, articles and self-evaluation scorecards to support your continued education and business growth.

EGIA routinely surveys its contractor network on specific focus topics to gain insight on how contractors are evolving their business practices to achieve maximum success and then publishes a summary of the survey results for Daikin Elite Dealers to access.

EGIA has negotiated special discounts with several of the premier business product, service, and training providers available today allowing members to save up to thousands of dollars on many of the essential tools needed to run their business.

Daikin Elite Dealers have access to a special financing program through EnerBank as well as increased financing rebates as compared to non-Elite dealers. During Spring and Fall promotional periods, Elite Dealers enrolled in the Premium EnerBank finance program will receive lower dealer fees on six select plans, designed to sell high-efficiency products. Daikin Elite Dealers will also receive an additional one percent rebate year round on 16+ SEER Single Stage and select Ductless equipment for a total of a 4% rebate. Non-Elite Dealers will receive the standard 3% rebate year round on 16+ SEER Two-Stage, and no Ductless will be included.

On select EGIA Financing Clearinghouse programs, contractors can receive up to a 0.5% rebate each month on all funded loan volume. Example: A contractor with $100,000 in funded loans in a given month will receive a $500 rebate.

As a Daikin Elite Dealer, $10 of your monthly dues are contributed to the EGIA Foundation from EGIA at no added cost to you. The EGIA Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charitable organization committed to educating, researching and developing the next generation of qualified workers for the home service industry, is proud to announce that the EGIA Foundation Scholarship Program is now accepting applicants for the 2018-19 academic year.

Up to 20 scholarships of $2,500 each will be awarded to qualified applicants who are pursuing an HVAC technology-related course of study at an approved institution during the 2018-19 academic year.
